Gradie Ngaruka holds a Master’s degree from Stanford University, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering.
Passionate about driving sustainable change in Congo, Gradie joined her former classmate Nasser to establish Chora, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people through leadership development and fostering a strong sense of ownership over community impact.
As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees Chora’s finances, strategy, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient operations and long-term sustainability. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Gradie contributes to program development by designing strategies that enhance organizational efficiency and deepen community impact.
She is deeply committed to promoting self-sufficiency and sustainability in under-resourced communities across the Democratic Republic of Congo.
