Our story begins in 2019, with an essential question:

Jeunesse congolaise regardant vers l'avenir

In many cities of the DRC, the youth lack neither ideas nor potential, but they lack visible role models. This void is not just a material lack: it is a silence around local successes, inspiring journeys, and stories capable of igniting a spark.

It is to fill this void that Scientific Forever (Sc4ever) was born in December 2019. A committed community. A collective pulse. A will to make success tangible and human. Through forums and conferences, Sc4ever reconnects ambitions with familiar faces; people who are succeeding here, and now.

Sc4ever does not claim to inspire with distant figures. It showcases faces from the same social fabric, who have gone through the same realities and transformed the ordinary into action.

2020-2022

Inspiration becomes construction.

The stories trigger breakthroughs. A student resumes the studies she thought were lost. A young coder develops his first prototype in his room. Friends start an agricultural cooperative in a neighborhood without electricity.

What is so moving? The sincerity of the journeys. The courage of convictions. The grounding in reality.

Voices rise and open new paths:

Their commitments, their paths, their struggles awaken a youth that is beginning to believe that success is possible; here, with what they have, and in spite of everything.

2023

A milestone is reached.

Sc4ever discovers that inspiration is only the beginning. The youth need more: grounds, tools, mentors, structures. It is this realization that gives birth to Chora Congo. A continuity. An amplification. A rooted, pragmatic movement, closer to the ground.

Sc4ever awakened the dreams. Chora Congo gives them the means to exist.

2024

The vision is embodied in one word: “Chora”

In Swahili, it means to trace or to draw. But it is also a philosophy: to allow each young person to draw their own path with dignity, clarity, and audacity. Rooted in the heart of Goma, Chora Congo transforms daily challenges into levers for action.

  • Practical education adapted to the local context,
  • Training in creative and sustainable entrepreneurship,
  • Close mentorship embodied by local leaders,
  • Community projects designed and led by the youth themselves.

It is not a program. It is a living ecosystem. A factory of solutions. A laboratory of the future.

Today

A generation is rising.

In schools, neighborhoods, workshops… they refuse to be spectators of their own destiny. They take the pencil. They draw. They build.

Tomorrow

This vision extends beyond the hills of Goma.

It traces a path towards Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Bukavu, Mbandaka… Everywhere young people have powerful ideas. What they need is a framework to realize them.

The story continues with you.
