Originally from Kivu in Eastern DRC, Jacinthe Maarifa is passionate about social impact projects and sustainable development dynamics.
He holds a Master’s degree in Governance, Security, and Defense from the University of Goma, where he also earned a degree in Political Science. Today, he works as a community organizer and collaborates with several humanitarian organizations in Eastern Congo, alongside his research in governance.
Also a slam poet, Jacinthe joined Chora inspired by the organization’s narrative of transforming imagination into a creative force rooted in reflection and action for a different tomorrow.
